Software Developer & Tech Innovator
-Year-Old Developer
Aspiring engineer with a strong passion for electronics, programming and problem solving. I taught myself Arduino(C++) during lockdown which sparked my interest in designing and creating innovative electronic systems. This led me to join UTC Sheffield City, Where I'm studying Engineering and Programmable Systems.
Since then, I've developed multiple projects using Arduino, Raspberry Pi and ESP Microcontrollers. Including a Wi-Fi Controlled DCC Receiver an Automated Level Crossing and even making my own mobile app called parkrunner tourist which now currently has 4,000+ downloads. I regularly use HTML, Java, C++ and Python, Integrating them with microcontrollers and platforms such as Github, XCode, MIT App Inventor to create custom interfaces and IoT applications.
Outside of my studies, I'm deeply involved in the community. I'm a Run Director at Endcliffe parkrun which means iam periodically responsible for coordinating 800+ runners and volunteers and serve as the guardian of the Endcliffe park defibrillator, ensuring it remains operation and up-to-date. I also volunteer as a Scout Leader where I help assist running the activities and games. I Am also responsible for the minute writing of the AGM Meetings. I Am also a site volunteer at the Sharrow Vale Market where I assist with logistics, safety and event management.
I've completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and aim to achieve Gold!
